Just let the game die peacefully. It's been brain dead for years.

How much, do you suppose, WGT is paying for the privilege of using the MLB logo, team logos, stadium images and player names - particularly for a game that has not had a meaningful upgrade in... ever?

The decision to terminate this game was a business decision, plain and simple. They are not about to throw good money after bad hoping that it will somehow become a money-maker. All of the LaBudas in the world are never going to make this game profitable for WGT.

From an economic standpoint, the game - no matter how much we may enjoy its simple (simplistic?) format, is not worth saving from the virtual scrapheap. So with all due respect, I would suggest that we all think about the time that we have spent playing this game, sitting in this forum reading - hopefully with some amusement - the diatribes of certain individuals, and think about ways that we can put that time to better use. To quote the great sage William Shatner, "Get a life. Move out of your parents' basements."
